"This - if you haven't noticed by reading the tracklist - is actually the first part of a two song suite, which I dub the Empires Suite. This short instrumental track sets the stage for the album with an absolutely blistering introduction of squealing dual lead guitars bound to snatch the crown off Tommy Iommi's head, over an atomic bomb explosion of rhythm. There is no need to words here, as the title says it all: Empires Rise. They have done so in the past and will continue to do so. At this point, we do not know if this is for the good of the people, or a product of ignorant corruption at all levels of humanity. Welcome, to dystopia. Welcome, to just another version, of Hell."
